Who is Frank Caputo?
Frank: << Hi, I’m Francesco (aka Frank) Caputo, I’m 17, I live in Pescopagano, a small town in the province of Potenza and I’m in the fourth year of scientific high school (traditional course). I started uploading videos to TikTok about a year ago, and since then my life has changed dramatically. I started publishing them to fill my boring summer days, also because socializing has never been my strong point, and therefore, being often locked up at home doing nothing, I said to myself: “Why not?”: I didn’t imagine that from there little by little I would have had fans or even fan pages, which still support me every day and fill me with affection with messages that hardly a year ago I would have thought I would receive. On my TikTok profile I bring a variety of content, including comic or music videos, in particular where I play the piano, an instrument that has been part of my life for 9 years now. Since I have TikTok I have changed positively: I have always been a lonely and not very sociable guy, but thanks to this app I have met many new people with whom I have bonded a lot in recent months; I also add that everything I built with TikTok helped me to overcome a very difficult period that I was going through about a year and a half ago: it was an outlet that led me to realize a dream that I had for a long time in the drawer: be heard. I was always labeled as the “loser”, I was excluded by everyone, in short, I was an outcast. Now, however, people stop me on the street and ask for my photo. Who would have thought! Yet for some strange reason it happened, perhaps because on social media I can express myself better and the public likes me. If so, I hope that in the future people will continue to like my videos with which I always try to make a smile. >>
